Venture-backed Start-up Company with multiple offices.

 

Client Requirements:

New company needed to be sure telecommunications services were optimized on cost. 

 

Services to be reviewed:

Voice Services, Conference Calling, Data Services

 

Situation: 

New company needed to be sure telecommunications services were adequate to meet their needs while keeping costs down.

 

Scope of Project:

Complete telecommunications review across offices in three (3) geographically dispersed locations.  Review included use of consulting services and standard invoice validation and recommendations.

 

Discovery:

A 70 percent savings was obtained in one office by consolidating accounts and moving services to an existing contract and rates terms.  Consolidating accounts also eliminated multiple minimum charges for accounts with little usage.  

 

Outcome:

  • 70 percent cost reduction (savings) in one office – amounting to 15k annually.

  • 25 percent reduction in conference calling costs was negotiated amounting to 10k annually.
